Hilary lectures on the Graphic Design and Illustration BA (Hons). Since graduating from Liverpool John Moores in 2001 she has worked in London as a freelance illustrator, digital designer, and Art Director. Hilary worked as an Art Director producing animations, games and online experiences. Coming from a very commercial industry background she retrained in 2007, completing an MA at Manchester Metropolitan University and a postgraduate diploma in Book Arts at LCC (London College of Communication).
She has always been interested in interactivity, how a user experiences design. Whether it is in an onscreen environment, through a hand-held book, paper engineering or how you might navigate a physical space.
