I am a newly appointed lecturer in Psychology at LJMU and a Trainee Health Psychologist.
My research interests are health related; my PhD research looked at type 2 diabetes risk screening in dental practice.
I am interested in diabetes related research, health screening, risk communication, theoretical models and behaviour change, and psychological research conducted in the dental setting.
I am also interesting in the topic of breastfeeding and have recently worked on a research project looking at the psychosocial predictors of infant feeding in the area of Stoke on Trent.

Other, Primary school aged children, educational workshop as part of a series of workshops to develop a new school strategy on healthy eating, design and delivery of workshop on health psychology, All Saints Catholic Primary School, Liverpool, Green Food Strategy, Deliver a 'health psychology' educational workshop designed to equip children with the knowledge and skills to develop a new school healthy eating strategy. School is in an area of high deprivation, and so the workshop was about working wit the children to understand how to and why it is important to make healthy food choices for their own health. then provide support in putting info together for the strategy booklet produced and disseminated through the school.. 2023
