The LJMU LEAD Programme
Leadership Enhancement And Development
The LEAD Programme provides a flexible and comprehensive range of workshops that aim to support and develop the skills, knowledge, approaches and mindset of current and future LJMU leaders. The workshops provide a balance of practical tools and techniques alongside space for reflection and action planning, and the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the University.
The workshops are open and available to all groups of staff, and there are no pre-requisites for attendance. Staff are welcome to attend just one workshop or work their way through all topics available and can complete them in any order. The programme is also open to both current and aspirational leaders.
There are four key strands available as part of the programme.
The Aspirational Leadership workshops are aimed at staff who are completely new to the topic and are looking to learn the fundamentals of the role.
The Core Leadership strand will allow participants to focus on their styles, approaches and communication.
The Core Management workshops focus on practical and operational tools and techniques.
The fourth strand is Specialist Leadership, which will incorporate information and development aimed at specific roles and responsibilities, as well as stand alone masterclasses and guest speakers.
