What the Horizons project is and what the team at LJMU do

The Horizons project is an innovation support programme in the Liverpool City Region dedicated to helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who want to improve their competitiveness and productivity while encouraging their economic growth.

LJMU is a key partner in the project, with experts based at Byrom Street, providing practical, hands-on assistance and access to knowledge, equipment, facilities, funding and our students. Together we can tailor unique solutions that will future proof local businesses, allowing them to unlock their full potential.

Horizons is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and delivered with its higher education partners LJMU, the University of Liverpool’s VEC and Edge Hill University and supported by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
