Tuition fee deposit
Self-funded international students who require a UK visa to study are required to pay a deposit of £5,000 for the university to issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number. There is more information regarding the deposit and early bird tuition fee discounts on the Tuition fee deposit webpage.
You will need to pay your remaining tuition fees either in full or in three equal instalments minus any internal scholarships and discounts.
Find out more information on Tuition fee payment instalments.

Pre-CAS interviews
A Pre-CAS Interview (PCI) is mandatory, recorded credibility check for some international students. It is completed within CAS Shield and must be passed before we can issue your CAS that allows you to apply for your Student visa.
Information on who needs to take a Pre-CAS Interview can be found on the Pre-CAS Interview webpage.
