What happens next
Please find a step-by-step guide to what will happen now that you have applied to LJMU.
Undergraduate students

Your application will be accessed
If you applied via UCAS, please check regularly for updates.

Decision made and communicated
If an offer has been made it will be one of the following:
- Unconditional Offer.
- Conditional Offer.
- Alternative Offer.
- Rejection.
If a decision has been made via UCAS you will be asked to select two universities or two programmes as your firm and insurance choice. At this point you have to decline all other offers.
If you applied via an agent and an offer was made, you will need to select either the Green or Red button to accept or decline the offer.

UCAS Extra
If you have applied for the maximum of five courses via UCAS, but have been unsuccessful in gaining a place or declined all offers, you will be eligible for UCAS Extra.
Postgraduate students

Your application will be accessed
If you applied directly or via an agent all communications will be sent via email.

Decision made and communicated
If an offer has been made it will be one of the following:
- Unconditional Offer.
- Conditional Offer.
- Alternative Offer.
- Rejection.
If an offer has been made, you will need to go into the offer and select either the Green or Red button to accept or decline the offer.

ATAS certification
If you are applying for a Taught Masters, Masters by research, or PhD course, you may require an ATAS certification. Please visit our ATAS guidance webpage.
Campus Connect
As an offer holder, you will be invited to join Campus Connect which is a student led community app. You will receive an email with instructions on how to download the app.
You will get to chat with international ambassadors and meet future classmates. The app also allows you to ask questions and get prompt replies.
To register, look out for an email that you should have got a few days after LJMU made an offer to you. Please use your LJMU Student ID Number which is in your offer letter and the email address you used in your application form to complete. Once registered, you can download the app to gain access to the platform.
