School of Education

Faculty of Arts Professional and Social Studies

I am a Senior Lecturer in Education Early Childhood Studies, currently teaching on the Education Studies Programme (Core modules plus some on the Ed Studies and Special and Inclusive Needs programme).

I have a history of teaching in schools, and a particular interest in social justice.

I am currently writing around the area of neo-liberalism and its impact on the Academy. I presented earlier this year at the Nordic Educational Research Association Conference in Gothenburg with my mother, a retired academic, using autobiography as a research method to look at generational changes within Higher Education, with a focus on political activism.
