My current post is Graduate Teaching Assistant and PhD candidate in Criminology at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). I completed my undergraduate degree in Criminology in 2010 at The University of Central Lancashire, and in 2013 completed a Masters by Research focusing on cases studies of 19th century criminal women at the same institution. Following this, I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Teesside University and continue to teach as part of my scholarship at LJMU. My PhD research focuses on contemporary institutional responses to Child Sexual Abuse. I am also research assistant for the Centre for Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion.
