Dr Blanca Mamutse

Faculty of Business and Law

Blanca joined the Law School in 2017. Her qualifications include LLB(Hons), LLM (International & European Business Law) and Ph.D. degrees, as well as a postgraduate certificate in higher education. Her teaching experience encompasses various modules in the law of obligations and corporate/commercial law, across all levels of undergraduate and postgraduate learning, and postgraduate research supervision.
She has previously taught at Aston University, Surrey University and Westminster Law School, and served as external examiner for institutions within the UK.
She is programme leader of the LLM International Business Corporate and Finance Law, convenor of undergraduate and postgraduate Insolvency Law modules, and Business Law. Her research specialism is in corporate insolvency law, particularly the intersection between debtor/creditor interests and public policy.
