Emma has worked at Liverpool John Moores University since 2019. After completing a BSc in Biological Science, Emma undertook an MSc Nursing and PGDip SCPHN (Health Visiting) here at the University. Prior to working at the University, Emma has worked as a Health Visitor across the North West, focusing on safeguarding children and leadership.

Emma is Cohort Leader for the March 2020 Nursing Cohort and Module Leader for a second year practice module, as well as supporting other modules across the TNA and BSc Nursing Programmes.

Emma is Programme Leader for MA Nursing Programmes; MA Nursing, MA Nursing Clinical Education, MA Nursing Clinical Leadership and MA Nursing Mental Health.

Research interests include teaching and learning, curriculum design, attachment informed education and resilience in student nurses.
