Public talk or lecture, West Midlands perinatal network, Invited speaker, Leonardo Hotel, Birmingham, West Midlands Perinatal network Educators Day Presentation, Presented at West Midlands perinatal network in Birmingham, focusing on empowering international nurses and enhancing professional nurse advocate support for the Neonatal Educators from the West Midlands. The session was resounding success, with everyone actively participating in the discussion sharing valuable insights on how to best support international nurses within NHS to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. The importance of staff wellbeing, embracing inclusion and fostering diversity were also key topics explored during the event. One of the key takeaways from the session was the surprising revelation of the numerous struggles and challenges International nurses often encounter during their transition to becoming NMC registered nurses. This newfound understanding highlighted the importance to increase compassionate and professional support for the nurses to thrive in their new roles.. 2024
