Ronald Harris

I took up my current position as a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science and Pre-Hospital Care in June 2016 with Liverpool John Moores University. I am involved in the delivery of lectures with regards to all aspects of the Paramedic programme as well as the teaching of clinical skills. I am the Module lead for two Level 4 Modules (Anatomy and Physiology based) I am also the module lead for a Level 5 Module (Pathophysiology) and I am the programme lead for the MSc Paramedcine. I am also involved in the delivery of Level 6 modules. After working in the health service for over 20 years I felt it was the right time move into education on a full-time basis after completing my BSc (Hons) in 2014. My thirst for knowledge did not dwindle and I graduated in 2016 with an MSc (with distinction) in Advanced Clinical Practice. I graduated in 2017 with a PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, and in 2019 I graduated with a Non-Medical Prescribing post-graduate qualification with Distinction. Currently I am in my second year of a PhD.
