I am currently employed as a Student Success Advisor in the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, alongside an RA role exploring student engagement, wellbeing and success within the School. I am also completing a PhD in Biomechanics of Head Injuries in Women's Rugby at Ulster University, Belfast.
Alongside work at LJMU, I am actively engaged in Rugby Coaching and Research, co-leading a Women's Rugby Research group and coaching North West Girls U18s Rugby for the Rugby Football Union. My particular research interests explore how sociological, gendered factors can play a key role in injury mechanics, risk and outcomes in women's sports.
