Grand Central

Grand Central is located next to Lime Street station in the very heart of the city.

It is perfectly located for students based at either of LJMU’s campuses.

Room types

There are over 1200 bedrooms in total. All cluster flats have a shared kitchen, dining area and lounge, including dining table, chairs, and sofas.

Each cluster flat contains up to six bedrooms. All bedrooms have a study desk, wardrobes and extra storage.

There are three room types at Grand Central:

• Standard En-suite rooms with single beds
• Premium En-suite rooms with small double beds
• Studio rooms with double beds

Please note:
Studio rooms are reserved for those with additional needs. If you feel that you require a studio, please email accommodation@ljmu.ac.uk before requesting a studio. A studio request will not be processed without an email sent prior.

Amenities

The site is a secure gated community for Grand Central and Horizon Heights residents. There is a small external communal space and an internal social space, with pool table and table tennis.

Other

Grand Central tends to be a desirable choice due to its size, location and popularity with younger students.
