MA Education and Social Justice Discovery Session

Find out about our MA Education and Social Justice recruiting in September 2025 from the Programme Leaders, Dr Sana Rizvi and Dr Angie Daly.

Available in both part-time and full-time study modes, the MA is ideal for educators, researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and leaders from educational settings, community and voluntary organisations, and policy sector as well as for current undergraduate students.

If you are passionate about developing knowledge, understanding and skills to address issues of equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice in relation to education this is the MA for you.

A key focus of this programme is to equip students with requisite knowledge, skills, and strategies to tackle challenges that face young people, the education sector and educators in formal and non-formal settings. You will learn to question accepted theory and policy, view education from a global perspective and explore key issues such as equity, inclusion and accessibility. This programme involves critical multi-disciplinary study and deepens your understanding of education in a local and global context including the UN Sustainable Development Goals and rights based frameworks including UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We welcome UK and international students.

Please note:
This MA does not provide Qualified Teacher Status.

We look forward to having you attend the event.
