Updates from the Research Engagement Team September 2023

Upcoming research support events

New workshops and sessions to support researchers across LJMU are available to book now.

Taking place throughout the new semester, from open access publishing and tracking your policy reach to help with research posters and using social media, there’s a range of topics being covered.

Visit the 'Research Support Events' section of Libcal to see what’s on and to book your places.

New guidance: How to deposit your research data using LJMU Data Repository

LJMU Data Repository is the university’s institutional repository where researchers can safely deposit and store research data on an open access basis.

LJMU Data Repository is linked to Symplectic, the LJMU research publications system.

Get more help with using both systems by using Library Services guidance for depositing your research data.

New ReadMe file template

A ReadMe file gives details on when and how data was created or collected and processed; how it can be used; and if there are any instructions for opening files.

Use our LJMU template ReadMe file to ensure that you have provided all the information needed when making a deposit to the LJMU Research Data Repository. Download the template file from the LJMU Research Data Repository webpage
