Introducing the JMSU Student Officer team 2024/25



Representing the student voice

Four new student officers are now in post for the 2024/2025 academic year to represent the 27,000 students at LJMU. 

Meet Seren, Lottie, Brenin and Alexandria (pictured left to right) who were elected back in March and take up their position as the JMSU Student Officers from July 2024 onwards.

The four newly elected officers 2024/25 are:

  • President: Brenin, who aims to help students with the cost of living, listen to feedback and be accessible to students 
  • VP Education: Seren, who aims to implement monthly self-care sessions, in person exam advice, plus extra support for international students 

  • VP Activities: Lottie, who aims to produce more and campaigns, communications and build on student-based training 

  • VP Community & Wellbeing: Alexandria, returning for the second year, Alexandria aims to continue work on improving student safety, decreasing travel costs and tackling rising food and energy costs

About the JMSU Student Officers

The JMSU student officers are elected each year to represent the student voice. They plan activities, lead campaigns and attend university meetings to represent and be the voice of 27,000+ students. Find out more about the Student Officer team.
