Applause for our graduates in Dubai!

Many congratulations to our amazing graduates in Dubai!
The recent Felicitation Ceremony at Westford University College included 71 students from the BA (Hons) Business programme, 24 in the Postgraduate Certificate in Education, 19 students from the BSc (Hons) Business Psychology with HRM and cohorts in Sports Business, Computer Science, leadership in Education and Fashion.
Senior figures from LJMU were in Dubai – at the iconic Madinat Jumeirah - to celebrate the graduation.
The Class of 2024 was co-hosted by Professor Tim Nichol, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dr Rebecca Murphy, Director of Sport and Exercise Sciences, who described the ceremony as a powerful reminder of the potential and promise that these graduates held, and their readiness to make a lasting impact on the world.
Dr Murphy, whose school is marking the 50th anniversary of the world’s first degree in sport science, told graduands: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to warmly congratulate you all in person.
“Achieving a degree or higher qualification is a fantastic achievement and we are genuinely thrilled that you have done so through our superb partnership with Westford, here in Dubai.
“You should be very proud of what you have achieved. What happens next is up to you, but I feel confident that you can achieve everything you hope for.”
Liverpool John Moores University has been one of Westford’s oldest and strongest partners in the institution’s 15+ years of journey. From over 20,000 alumni who have graduated from Westford, so far, over 5,000 students pursued a degree course that was offered by LJMU.
