Frances Disley is a multidisciplinary artist based in Liverpool with a practice that spans sculpture, participation, performance and installation. In collaboration with others (plants, trees and people) she uses her practice as a vehicle to explore
networks of solidarity and mutual support.

Disley has exhibited widely including 2020 solo show at the Bluecoat, Liverpool and a 2021 commission with Invisible Dust for UnNatural History at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum as part of Coventry City of Culture 2021. She recently completed a sculptural comission for Liverpool Cathedral which was exhibited in 2024. Her work has been acquired by The Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and the Arts Council Collection (ACC). Recent projects and commissions responding to people, plants and place include cwrdd a mi wrth yr afon/meet me by the river (Mostyn Gallery, North Wales), Chamomile Circle (At the Library, Sefton Libraries) and a new trail of sculptural artworks for Halewood Triangle Park in collaboration with residents from Halewood (Heart of Glass, St Helens).
