Dr Holger Mohaupt is Senior Lecturer in the Film Studies Department at LJMU. In his research practice he is interested in heritage, immersive storytelling and wellbeing. In his recent projects he worked with Scottish Natural Heritage, Historic Environment Scotland and the Museum for Soil and Agriculture in Bogor Indonesia. Holger is also an award-winning photographer and filmmaker. His distinct lens-based work has been exhibited internationally and screened at festivals worldwide. He is recipient of the New Media Scotland Award and the Irish SWITCH Visual Art Award.

The gallery Fidra Fine Art in Scotland described Holger’s work as:
”cleverly observed narratives elevate commonplace experiences into engaging stories. His work invigorates a sometimes austere world thoughtfully and aesthetically”.
