Previously, I studied Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging (MSc) at Liverpool Hope University, whereby I also obtained a Psychology (BSc) degree. Currently, I am a PhD student at Liverpool John Moores University, interested in investigating responses to affective touch in eating disorder populations compared to healthy controls. As part of my PhD, I am examining an impaired affective touch system in Anorexia Nervosa, with the aim of developing a non-invasive brain stimulation intervention for this impairment, under the supervision of Dr Valentina Cazzato, Dr Paula Trotter and Prof Francis McGlone.
