I have recently been awarded a VC PhD studentship at LJMU to investigate how mobile health technology can improve exercise behaviour for patients with atrial fibrillation. I completed my undergraduate degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University in Sport and Exercise Science, and my master’s degree at Liverpool John Moors University in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Upon completing my masters, I worked as a Research Assistant performing Echocardiographic data analysis for research into Sepsis, in partnership with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Following this I began work as a Research Practitioner at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, working on the hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgical clinical trials. Alongside my PhD, I will continue working part-time at the trust so I can apply for and maintain a Research Practitioner clinical registration.
