Milly is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Social Inclusion and her primary research focus explores gender issues in sport. She is currently completing her PhD, which is longitudinally examining women's engagement in sport and physical activity and how behaviour changes occur. This work builds on the Sport England Funded 'I Will if You Will' evaluation, on which Milly was the principal investigator. That project informed the national roll-out of the 'This Girl Can' (http://www.thisgirlcan.co.uk/) campaign.

Milly completed her undergraduate degree in sport development and physical education, followed by a masters degree in sport management at LJMU. She is a member of the Physical Activity Exchange in the School of Sport & Exercise Sciences.
