Gareth is a corporate lawyer with more than 25 years’ experience working on M&A transactions across the Liverpool city region and wider North West market. Having previously held partner positions at both DLA Piper and DWF in the city, since 2016 he has split his time between Lancashire based law firm Napthens where, as Consultant, he is helping to grow its Liverpool office and longstanding client, Elitetele.com Plc where, as Legal Counsel, he provides strategic advice at board level on corporate/M&A and commercial matters.

Originally from Belfast, Gareth graduated from The University of Liverpool in 1992. Having trained in Birmingham, he returned to Liverpool in 1995 to join DWF LLP where, other than a short period in-house with BAE Systems Plc, he has been ever since.

He now lives in Ainsdale, Southport with his wife Kate and their two daughters with whom he enjoys travelling, cycling, fell walking and other outdoor activities.
