   Our Freshers schedule ranges from raveminton, to open air cinemas, craft sessions to trips into the city and beyond, not to mention our heavily-anticipated Freshers Fair.

2. THIS IS WHAT WE DO - Liverpool School of Art and Design Degree Show 2025

   Each year, our final year Art and Design final year students host a two-week celebration of their work in the John Lennon Art and Design Building. This year's show, themed THIS IS WHAT WE DO is shaping up to be an exciting showcase of some of the best, cutting-edge art and design practise. 

3. Northern Ireland Teacher Conference

   This fully-funded event* is exclusively for teachers and careers advisors in secondary schools and FE colleges across Northern Ireland.

4. Centre for the Study of Law in Theory and Practice (LTAP) Annual Lecture

   Professor William Schabas will deliver our inaugural Centre for the Study of Law in Theory and Practice (LTAP) Annual Lecture on ‘Race, Racial Discrimination and International Law’.

5. MA Education and Social Justice Discovery Event - online

   Find out about our MA Education and Social Justice recruiting students in September 2025 from the Programme Leaders, Dr Sana Rizvi and Dr Angie Daly during this free online event taking place on Thursday 8th May from 4:30pm.

7. Liverpool LASER Talks: Within Touching Distance

   The emergence of immersive technologies such as VR Headsets and Game Engines provide new opportunities for artists and scientists alike. In this Liverpool Art Science Evening Rendezvouz (LASER) Talks we bring together speakers from very different disciplines whose work greatly extends the potential of these tools within neuroscience, health immersive theatre to reveal insights into the artistic, scientific and technological basis of their unique illusionary and immersive power.

8. RCBB Neuroscience Theme Event -- Executive Function Differences - in HIV, Eating Disorders and Across Cultures

   In this RCBB Neuroscience Theme event two external speakers, Prof Suzanne Higgs (University of Birmingham) and Dr Ivan Kroupin (The London School of Economics and Political Science, Harvard University), will present their research on executive function differences.

9. Studying nursing as a mature student

   Final-year mature Adult Nursing student Kerri Jones explains her career journey and why it’s never too late to study at university.
