Get £12 of food for £4 with 'Too Good to Go' app

To further help with the Cost of Living and as part of our commitment to sustainability at LJMU, we’re launching the 'Too Good to Go' app for students and staff this September.  

From Monday 4 September, at the end of each  day, LJMU’s Core Cafes will make up 'surprise bags’ full of £12 worth of food, available to buy for £4, through the app on a first come first serve basis.  

Students and staff will be able to reserve a bag of the short shelf-life food via the app and pick it up that afternoon.

The app will be updated each day and ‘surprise bags’ will be clearly labelled with allergies and food preferences e.g.vegetarian. 

How it works: 

Step 1 - Download the Too Good to Go app via the app store

Step 2 - Unlock our stores using the hidden store function by tapping -  ‘More’ –‘My Profile’ – Settings’ –‘Hidden Stores’

Enter the access code associated with your local on campus store.

Once inputted the store will remain open to you whenever using the app.
