Scientist Carl helps Jack to world title
Sport Science at LJMU was celebrating over the weekend as boxer Jack Caterall earned a world title on the undercard of the Usyk – Verhoeven fight.
Strength and Conditioning expert Dr Carl Langan-Evans, a reader in the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, has worked with the Chorley welterweight for some time.
And he was ringside at the “Glory in Giza” event held at the Pyramids, near Cairo on Saturday night.
Jack, 32 k went on to win his bout, and following the fight shared a post featuring images of his team, with Carl and Eddie Hearn.
