Academic Board Election May 2021

Following a Call for Nominations for a vacancy on Academic Board for a member of the Directorate, there were three nominations and an election was held. 

A total of 44 members of staff were eligible to vote and there was a turn out of 24 votes (55%). There were three candidates for the Directorate vacancy and the number of votes cast for each candidate were as follows:

After sharing the outcome of the election with the candidates, Dr Jason Kirby withdrew his nomination. Mark Askem is duly elected as a member of the Directorate on the Academic Board, and will serve a term of three years with effect from 9 June 2021.
