Complete the National Student Survey

The National Student Survey (NSS) 2024 is now under way for final year undergraduates at LJMU.

The NSS is an independent survey which asks for the views of eligible students at every university in the UK.

This is an opportunity for you to give your opinions about your experience at LJMU and help us understand what we are doing well and where we might be able to get better.

The survey is run by Ipsos MORI and your responses are completely anonymous.

Supporting a local charity

LJMU will make a donation to a local charity for each survey that is completed; our donations from NSS 2024 will go to Micah Liverpool, a social justice charity which runs a foodbank and supports residents suffering with poverty, unemployment and social exclusion.

Last year, we were able to donate £11,000 thanks to our final year students completing the NSS – that was enough to provide local people in poverty with fresh fruit and vegetables for four months and milk for six months.

You can find out more about how our donation will support local people in this short video.

Completing the survey

If you are eligible to complete NSS 2024, you will have received an email to your LJMU inbox from Ipsos MORI on Thursday 18 January with a personalised link to the survey. You can also access the survey by visiting the NSS website.

It will only take you around 10 minutes to complete the survey and your responses will really help the university and make a valuable contribution to Micah Liverpool.
