Open Data Week 2024 new sessions added



The Researcher Engagement Team is delighted to be hosting a series of dynamic online sessions for their inaugural Open Data Week, from Monday 21 to Friday 25 October, designed to highlight the importance of data management in today’s rapidly evolving research landscape.

New sessions added

Social media strategies for data - Tuesday 22 October, 11am to 12noon

This session is designed to help researchers effectively use social media to communicate about open data. These sessions will guide researchers in understanding the importance of open data, crafting messages, engaging with their audience, and measuring the impact of their social media efforts.

Tracking your data metrics - Tuesday 22 October, 1.30pm to 2pm

This session will look at how you can track the reach of your data via various sources of metrics, including Dimensions, publisher sites and institutional repositories. Attendees will gain a better understanding of data downloads and the reach of their work.

Publishing Deals and Data Wednesday 23 October, 1pm to 1.30pm

Interested in LJMU's open access publishing agreements? Wondering what this might mean for your data? This session will discuss your options to publish open access and raise awareness of the policies for open data.
