Long service staff celebrate milestones

Long service staff who have worked at the university for over 25 years were celebrated at an event at the Hilton in Liverpool last week.

95 members of staff celebrated

95 members of staff attended the event to celebrate their milestones with the total length of service for all those attending added up to 3040 years!

Head of Reward, Staff Engagement and Wellbeing, Andy Keegan, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to bring colleagues together from across the university to celebrate and recognise their long service contribution.”

The event on Friday is the first of two celebrations LJMU is holding this spring to celebrate long serving staff who have been at the university over 25 years.

Those staff who then reach 25, 35, 45 and 50 years of service in 2024 will be invited to the annual event for those hitting major milestones, later in the year.
