LJMU awarded Elevate EBP 2026 Patron Status

LJMU has been awarded Elevate Education Business Partnership (EBP) 2026 Patron Status in recognition of its dedication to supporting young people across the Liverpool City Region.

This acknowledgement reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to helping the next generation explore their education and career options while developing their key skills and confidence.

At LJMU, there is a dedicated Outreach programme that works alongside schools and further education providers to facilitate events both off and on campus, partnering with Elevate EBP on some of this activity. The team also attends school careers fairs, supports mock interviews, hosts subject masterclasses and children’s university taster sessions, helping young people gain valuable insights into university study and graduate careers, providing them with the experiences and knowledge needed for a successful future.

Elevate EBP is a social value organisation that brings together schools, colleges, universities, businesses, training providers and organisations to deliver high-quality careers education, enrichment and aspiration support and programmes. As a 2026 Patron, LJMU is proud to be a part of their impact and contribute to positive social change across the Liverpool City Region.

At Elevate EBP, we’re proud to celebrate another year of social impact made possible by the passion and commitment of the thousands of businesses and organisations who work with us. It’s a real privilege to work alongside our growing network of inspiring individuals.

In true ‘New Year’s Honours List’ style, we are delighted to award our 2026 Patron Status to the organisations and businesses who went above and beyond to support our work to ‘Transform Lives and Create Growth’ across the Liverpool City Region last year. All of our 2026 Patrons have been named as such for their dedication to high-quality careers support for young people and I can’t thank them enough for working with us here at the EBP.

Gill Ditchburn, CEO at Elevate EBP
