University launches Malaysia Alumni Association

LJMU has launched the LJMU Malaysia Alumni Association at an official event held at the British Council in Kuala Lumpur.

The university partnered with YPC International College, the exclusive provider of LJMU degrees in Malaysia, to create the association dedicated to strengthening connections among graduates.

More than 40 guests attended the launch of the association which will be a catalyst and opportunity for future members to network and connect with local and international industry leaders, reconnect with friends and classmates, celebrate excellence, and grow a strong and active LJMU Malaysia Alumni Association.

As part of the event, two alumni received special recognition awards, Philip Lew who graduated from LJMU, and Buvneswary Nathairajoo who graduated in the first cohort of Business Management students at YPC.

I hope my journey serves as encouragement to current and future LJMU students—to be courageous to strive for what you aim for, believe in your path, embrace challenges, and never underestimate the impact you can have.

“I hope my journey serves as encouragement to current and future LJMU students—to be courageous to strive for what you aim for, believe in your path, embrace challenges, and never underestimate the impact you can have.”
