Mental health support
The purpose of the Mental Health team is to empower students to preserve and manage their own mental health. Our Mental Health Advisors are trained professionals who can offer one-to-one support and advice to students who may be experiencing mental health difficulties.
What we can support with
We are here to support your mental health needs whilst you are at university. We work closely with NHS Mental Health Services, but we are not a replacement for this support, and we do not operate a crisis service.
We work with a range of mental health needs, these include:
- anxiety disorders
- depressive disorders
- difficulties with relationships
- eating disorders
- emerging mental health disorders
- mood disorders
- psychosis
- mental health needs that may require input from external mental health services

This list is not exhaustive.
