The programme provided strong grounding in pharmaceutical research and industry, supported by approachable lecturers and practical lab sessions that developed my technical, critical thinking, and writing skills. Student services, including Academic Success, Library, and Careers, were invaluable in improving my reports and job applications.

I am now a Research Scientist in a CRO, progressing to Scientist 2 and contributing to formulation development and early-stage drug research. My LJMU experience shaped my career direction and prepared me to thrive in the UK pharmaceutical industry.”
