Centre for the Study of Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion
An interdisciplinary centre producing world-leading research.
The CCSE provides a critical space, and educational forum, for public and academic debates on key social issues around crime, social harm, social divisions, state power and social (in)justice.
The Centre provides an intellectual, political and moral platform for critically analysing and challenging social divisions and social inequalities, the exercise of state power and the devastating social harms arising from these divisions and inequalities which scar the contemporary world.
Our research raises awareness and consciousness, which makes a moral and political contribution to achieving social justice for all.
