   Based on online reviews over the past two years, LJMU is ranked as the 6th best UK university according to the StudentCrowd awards 2022.

2. Registration for the Students at the Heart Conference 2023 is now open

   This year’s Students at the Heart Conference will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 June and you can now register for sessions and workshops.

3. Celebrating Cultures Event 2022

   All staff and students are invited to LJMU's Celebrating Cultures Event on Wednesday 15 June as part of the Students at the Heart Conference.

4. Changes to Harvard LJMU Referencing

   From the start of the 2024/25 academic year the institutional style for Harvard referencing is changing from Harvard LJMU to Harvard Cite Them Right.

5. LJMU nominated for two THE awards

   LJMU has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2024 THE Awards.

6. LJMU funded bootcamp programme for staff

   We are funding 16 staff places on a new bootcamp programme which will see you complete ’24 in 24’ – that’s 24 sessions in 2024.

7. International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) – 17th May 2021

   International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) aims to raise awareness of discrimination and violence against people within the LGBTIQ+ community, to drive positive change.

8. Unitemps LJMU named 'Branch of the Year'

   LJMU’s on campus recruitment agency, Unitemps, has won ‘Branch of the Year’ at the Unitemps Annual Awards 2024.

9. January 2025 exam timetables now live

   The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 6 January to Friday 17 January 2025 (inclusive).

10. UKRI open access monograph funding changes

    A reminder that UKRI has recently announced their guidance and requirements with regards to publishing open access monographs, which come into place from 1 January 2024.
