The captain of Britain’s gold medal-winning women’s hockey team Kate Richardson-Walsh MBE is an LJMU Honorary Fellow and has arrived back in the UK after leading her team to victory in Rio.

Sir Bert was a leading disability rights activist and was awarded his Honorary Fellowship at LJMU in 2002 for services to equality and promoting the rights of disabled people. He also served as a Governor of the university for nine years.
The annual survey and audit of teaching space will take place across the university between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 23 to Friday 27 October 2023.
