Women Academics Network
What is the Women Academics Network and what do they do?
The University Women Academics Network (WAN) is for all female academics at Professorial, Reader and Pre-Reader (AKA: Early Career Researcher) level. Established in 2017 we as Co-Chairs see the Network as being fundamental to the University strategic mission and is a visible and proactive consultative group on issues of gender diversity. Importantly, the groups serve as a source of information and peer support for female academics. The Women Academics Network meets regularly throughout the year, holds bespoke events and there is an ongoing programme of committee activity/whole Network projects.
