The LJMU Product Design Show 2026, our most ambitious celebration of creativity, innovation, and collaboration to date. This year, we are proud to partner with both local and national industry leaders, alongside leading educators in product design, to deliver an inspiring and dynamic showcase. At the heart of the event is an exhibition of exceptional student work, featuring contributions from Year 1, 2, and 3 students, who will present their design journeys from initial concept through to functional prototypes.

The programme also features the inaugural Design Summit on Thursday 14 May, bringing together voices from across industry and education to explore the future of design learning. With contributions from external stakeholders, including local designer Jonathan Butters, the summit will focus on strengthening the design education ecosystem, fostering collaboration, and addressing how we can retain creative talent within the Liverpool City Region while driving innovation forward.

This event is open to everyone. Whether you work in design, teach it, study it, or are considering a future in the field. You are welcome to drop in and visit the exhibition across all three days.
