Whether you are heading home or staying around Liverpool, here’s everything you need to know when it comes to building and Library opening times, plus support over the break.
Remember our Student Life Building will be open 24/7throughout spring break.
Bank holiday opening times
The Easter bank holiday weekend will take place from Friday 3 to Monday 6 April. Campus buildings and services will be closed or have reduced opening times over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 3 to Monday 6 April (inclusive).
The Student Life Building will remain open 24/7 throughout the bank holiday weekend with security on site.
The Library
Whilst it is important to take a well-earned rest over the spring break, we know many of our students will be wanting to get some study time in ahead of April/May exams.
Our Mount Pleasant and City Campus libraries daily opening times are available on the library webpages.
The Libraries and services will be closed on Friday 3 April and on Monday 6 April, but will open as normal on Saturday 4 April and Sunday 5 April.
Our academic success team still has drop-in sessions, appointments and self-study resources over the spring break, to help you prepare and study for your exams.
Student Advice and Wellbeing
Our Student Advice and Wellbeing Services is still available over the spring break.
Visit LJMU Student Support web pages for health and wellbeing, counselling services, money advice and more.

The number is also on the back of every student/staff ID card. Or you can download the SafeZone app to contact the team at the touch of a button.
LJMU has staff working 24/7 with patrolling security around campus throughout the spring break.
Happy Easter to all those celebrating
We wish a happy and peaceful Easter to all those celebrating within our LJMU community and beyond.
Easter is a Christian festival celebrating the resurrection of Jesus which falls during the university’s spring break also known as the Easter holidays. It follows Lent, a 40‑day period of reflection, self-discipline or giving something up. Key days include Good Friday (3 April) and Easter Sunday (5 April), and many people mark Easter with celebrations and traditions like gifting chocolate eggs and having family get togethers.
Happy Easter to all those celebrating.
