Complete the 'Your LJMU Your Voice' 2026 staff survey

LJMU has launched this year’s staff engagement survey.

The survey is a valuable opportunity for university leadership to understand staff experiences and the issues that matter most across the university.

It covers areas including culture, values, and diversity and inclusion, with the findings used to help gain a clearer understanding of the issues that matter to you and how we can work together effectively to deliver our 2030 strategy.

How to complete the survey

The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete. You will receive an email wc 11 May from survey-invite@peopleinsight.co.uk with a link to complete the survey.

The 2026 survey is once again being administered by our external partner People Insight and ensures that individual survey responses are anonymous. Information will only be provided to the university if anonymity thresholds are met.

This is important as we want all members of staff to feel able to share their thoughts and feedback on working at LJMU.

Actions since the 2025 staff survey

Following the 2025 staff survey, teams and services have put in place 143 locally owned actions.  With three key focus areas, identified at university level:

  • Career Development
  • Line Management
  • Health and Wellbeing

A free drink and weekly prize draw

Members of staff who complete the survey will be entered into a weekly draw for £250 Love to Shop vouchers. The draw will take place each Friday while the survey is open and will conclude on Sunday 19 June. The winners will be contacted directly by People Insight.

To thank you for taking the time to answer the questions we also offer staff a free drink at your local LJMU Core Café, up to the value of £3, on completion of the survey.
