    We hold a seat on the prestigious International Executive Board of the International Association of Maritime Universities and have launched the LJMU Global Centre for Maritime Innovation.

    LJMU is building the world’s largest £30 million robotic telescope. Thousands of schoolchildren already use our existing robotic telescope at La Palma. It is accessed through the National Schools Observatory to enhance STEM education.

    LJMU is now one of the best universities in the world for Sport and Exercise Science. The university launched the UK’s first sports science degree 50 years ago.
